Float therapy FAQ
Is there a flotation tank in Ho Chi Minh City?
Yes. Float Vietnam’s float rooms are at Ōmni Space, 16C Quoc Huong, Thao Dien (Thu Duc), about 15 minutes from District 1, open daily 9:00–21:00. They are open float rooms with a large Epsom salt pool rather than closed pods.
How is a float room different from a float pod?
A float pod is a closed capsule with a lid. A float room is a walk-in room with a wide, open pool, so nothing closes over you and there is more space to stretch out. Read more in types of float tanks.
Is float therapy safe?
Yes. The water is only about 25 cm deep and so dense with Epsom salt that you float even if you fall asleep. You can open the tank or turn on the light at any time.
Can I float if I can’t swim?
Yes. You don’t need to swim: the dense salt water keeps you afloat without any effort.
How long is a float session?
Usually 60 to 90 minutes. First-timers are encouraged to try 2 or 3 sessions close together to settle into deeper relaxation.
What are the benefits of float therapy?
Floating helps reduce stress and anxiety, improves sleep, eases muscle and back pain and supports recovery after exercise. Many people also use it to deepen meditation and creativity.
